Basic: The calculations of the CO2 footprint of products (PCF: Product Carbon Footprint) such as a film or TV production are carried out according to the standard of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol "Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard" (2011)2 as well as in consideration of the Technical Specification ISO/TS 140673. Compliance with these globally recognised standards allows for further external verification as well as qualified offsetting of GHG emissions.
Factors: Corresponding factors for calculating GHG emissions for the respective reference year. Caution: Factors change annually. The reference year of production can therefore no longer be changed subsequently. Regular updates according to the latest scientific findings by KlimAktiv
