What is the SWISS CO2-Calculator Film & Media?
The SWISS CO2-Calculator Film & Media is a tool for balancing and reducing emissions from your film, media and TV production. You can enter all essential production data, identify the really climate-relevant activities per production phase, collaborate with your colleagues, business partners, stakeholders, have the results compiled in a report and key figures for your broadcaster, production company or film subsidy, benefit from better results based on the learnings from your own data archive. The calculator is already successfully in use in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol.
Does the use cost anything?
The use is currently free of charge.
Can I test the calculator first?
Absolutely. Feel free to create a demo account.
What is a demo account?
You are a student or would like to test the calculator?
With the demo account you get 30 days access and can create a test production with max. 10 activities.
What is a Professional Account?
The Professional Account is for professionals from the film industry.
It is a time-unlimited account with unlimited number of productions incl. all collaboration features and the option to have your own dashboard with selected KPIs.
How do I create an account?
For a demo account for testing, register on the homepage. You will receive an activation email and a password. Have fun trying it out.
For a Professional account, register and the request will be forwarded to the Admin for clearing. You will then receive an email with the further procedure.
I have not received an activation mail. What do I do?
First check your spam folder. If no mail has arrived there either, contact one of the email addresses below. After we have confirmed your activation, you can request a password via "Forgotten your password?". Please note that when registering for a Professional Account, activation emails are not automatically sent immediately, as your request is still being checked first.
I have forgotten my password, what do I do?
By clicking on "Forgot your password?" below the login screen, you can have a new password sent to the email address with which you registered.
How can I change my password?
On the top right under "My data" you will find the function "Change my password".
Can I delete my account?
To deactivate your account, contact one of the email addresses listed below.
How can I copy a project?
When creating a new project, you can select a previous one from a drop-down menu to copy this database. This makes sense, for example, with series or productions with similar framework conditions.
What is the difference between a TARGET data and an ACTUAL data?
The TARGET data is prepared before production starts and should be included in the planning. After production, the ACTUAL data is collected, which shows the activities that actually occurred. It is possible to take over the data of the TARGET project for the ACTUAL project.
Can I also export the report as a CSV?
In the "Report" section, you have the option of creating a PDF report or a CSV export for each production.
What is my dashboard composed of and who has access to it?
If you belong to a user group (broadcaster, funding agency, production company), the dashboard shows an evaluation of all productions assigned to this group.
The key figures are fed from the master data entered. The more data you enter, the more differentiated the key figures can be.
Why can't I see a dashboard?
The visibility of the dashboard can be granted and revoked by a selected person of your group with the function "Management". If you belong to a user group, contact your internal contact person. If you do not belong to a group and want a dashboard for your self-created productions, contact one of the email addresses below.
In addition to the KPIs shown, I am interested in other key figures of my productions. Can these be added to my dashboard?
The further development of the dashboard envisages further key figures in perspective, for requests and suggestions contact one of the email addresses below.
Do I have to fill in everything in the master data?
That's up to you, you fill in as much data as you like. However, the more data you provide, the more detailed your dashboard will be.
Who sees the entries in the master data?
This depends on the authorisation status you can assign under "Permissions".
What about data protection?
Can I delete my productions?
In the Productions tab, you can delete the entire production, only TARGET data or only ACTUAL data by clicking on the three dots next to each production. You can only delete productions that you have created yourself.
